So, we are doing tastings for our appetizers for the big day. Because as you know, I have such a hard time deciding what I want to have because being a foodie, there’s just not one piece of food that I put in my mouth that I don’t love. But as I am learning with this wedding planning, I have to make a decision. This is what today is all about. Getting the menu ready for the big day. This is our house made pulled pork on a blue cornmeal cake. I like the cornmeal cake on the bottom of it. It’s a nice balance between the sweetness of the barbecue. This appetizer here is a calamata tartlet. That cheese is amazing. It’s really good. I normally don’t like olives. Our next house made appetizer is our chicken pecan salad. I like that it’s not too chunky. I like that it’s a medley of flavors. You don’t bite into the chicken and then taste all the celery. This course is our seared ahi tuna. I love the cream on top of that. It’s so refreshing and the green onion at the end. This is our shaved beef croustades. That is outstanding. And I love how crispy, but yet how soft the bread is. You can taste the butter, which is the most fantastic ingredient ever. Our next appetizer is a party favorite, shrimp cocktail with house made cocktail sauce. I think this is maybe something that we have to have. Everyone loves shrimp cocktail. This is our last, it’s a caprese skewer. It’s so refreshing! Because it could be like eighty-five degrees. Everything’s healthy and I’m not supposed to like it, but I like it.
